Local Moving

We are a full-service moving company dedicated to helping you with every aspect of your move from start to finish. An experienced "Move Coordinator" is immediately assigned to your move to help answer all of your questions and concerns. Our customers have found it beneficial to have a "One Point of Contact" person to guide them through each step of the moving process; from the packing, loading, unloading, and final set-up at your new location.

Our Services Include:

• Johnson & Daly will arrive within a 15 minute window at both origin and destination.
• We will fully prepare your home for the move by protecting your carpets, floors, stairs, and door jams with covers. This service is included within our "Not To Exceed" price.
• We have a fleet of 22 moving trucks of various sizes, specially built, to accommodate any challenging streets or situations. 
• We offer free use of wardrobe/hanging clothes boxes on move day.
• As "Superior Packing" Award winners, we offer full packing and unpacking services to our customers. We specialize in packing and moving bulky and fragile pieces, such as: pianos, grandfather clocks, fine art, plasma/LCD televisions, fine china, crystal, and oversized art pieces. 
• We are also experts in "difficult" home accesses involving stairs, hoisting, or crane services. 

Extra Services Available:

• Custom crating is available for extra large, heavy, fragile or high value pieces.
• Delivery services are available for dropping items at a consignment store, local refuse location, and/or your local charitable organization.
• Full service "Home Organizers" are available through 3rd party companies. They can assist you with lining drawers, organizing shelves, and arranging furniture.
• If you are unable to obtain access to your new home on move day, we offer a "Hold on Truck" storage for a nominal nightly charge in order to reduce costs and eliminate double handling of your items.

• We employ over 45 highly trained, English speaking, professional movers.
• All of our employees are background checked by a third party company and drug screened.
• Many of our Foremen have been professionally trained through the Mayflower Transit System.
• We have regular, year round employees and most of our movers have been with us for many years.
• You may request a "non-smoking" moving crew.
